On the 21st of February 2023, the Finland Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg had the pleasure of hosting a meet & greet with the new Ambassador of Finland to Belgium and Luxembourg, Mr. Jouko Leinonen.
The event was organised in celebration of the official appointment of Mr. Leinonen, who has been accredited today by His Royal Highness The Grand Duke of Luxembourg.
A selected group of Finnish business influencers was invited to meet the Ambassador and discuss the business environment and perspectives in Luxembourg.
Discussions were flowing and the Ambassador held an inspiring speech about his first impressions of Luxembourg and how he wishes to get to know the country and its people, as well as seek opportunities for collaboration and mutual synergies.
Mike Welter, the Chief Commercial Officer of Bernard-Massard also held a short speech about the long connection between Finland and Luxembourg in the field of the wine trade, a theme that was a great fit for the evening: bringing together two countries and their people.
